01. How best to store candles?

ScentLoop candles are handcrafted using natural soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. To maintain their quality, store them in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. This will prevent the wax from deforming and keep the scent intense.

 

02. Should I trim the wick?

Yes – this is one of the most important steps that affects the quality of burning. Before each use, trim the wick to about 5 mm to:

  • ensure the candle burns evenly,
  • avoid sooting,
  • extend burn time.

 

03. How to properly extinguish a candle?

It's best to gently snuff out the flame with a special snuffer or dip the wick into the melted wax, then immediately reposition it. Avoid blowing it out – this can cause smoking and wax splatters.

 

04. What to do before the first lighting?

For a perfect candle burn:

  • always trim the wick,
  • make sure the candle surface is clean,
  • allow it to burn for the first use until the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass (approx. 2-3 hours).

Only then will you avoid so-called tunneling and ensure an even, beautiful surface with every subsequent burn.

 

05. What to pay attention to when burning a candle?

While burning:

  • place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface,
  • keep it away from drafts,
  • do not move a lit candle,
  • burn for a maximum of 3-4 hours at a time to avoid overheating the wax and glass.

02. Never leave a candle unattended
A flame requires adult supervision – safety is always a priority.

03. Keep away from children and pets
Maintain an appropriate distance to avoid accidental knocking over of the candle.

04. Use responsibly
Do not place candles near curtains, paper, bedding, or other flammable materials.

05. Extinguish the candle safely
Use a snuffer or dip the wick in wax – this is the cleanest and safest method.

All ScentLoop candles are 100% handmade in Łódź. We use only non-GMO soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and toxin-free wicks. Our glass jars are reusable, and the label comes off exceptionally easily thanks to the use of peelable adhesive.
