Contest Rules

"Name the new Easter candle scent #ScentLoop"

§ 1. General Provisions

  1. These rules define the terms and conditions for the contest titled "Name the new Easter candle scent #ScentLoop", hereinafter referred to as the "Contest".

  2. The Organizer of the Contest is CHMAL INVESTMENTS GROUP SP. Z O.O., aleja Włókniarzy 234A, 90-556 Łódź, Poland, owner of the ScentLoop brand and the website scentloop.eu, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer".

  3. The Contest is conducted via the Organizer's profile on the social media platform indicated in the contest post and according to the rules specified in these Regulations.

  4. The Regulations are available free of charge on the website scentloop.eu throughout the duration of the Contest.

  5. The Contest runs from the moment the contest post is published until March 26, 2026, at 11:59 PM Polish time.

  6. The Contest results will be announced on March 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM on the Organizer's profile and/or the Organizer's website.

  7. The Contest is creative in nature and aims to select the most ingenious contest entries.

§ 2. Contest Participants

  1. Only a natural person who:

    1. is 18 years of age or older,

    2. has full legal capacity,

    3. has a public account on the social media platform where the contest post is published,

    4. has accepted these Regulations.

  2. The Contest is intended for individuals residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland.

  3. Employees of the Organizer, individuals cooperating in the organization of the Contest, their spouses, ascendants, descendants, siblings, and persons related to them by adoption are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

§ 3. Rules of Participation in the Contest

  1. To participate in the Contest, during its duration, you must:

    1. add a comment under the contest post containing:

    • a suggestion for the name of the new Easter candle scent #ScentLoop,

    • a brief justification of your idea;

    1. accept these Regulations.

  2. Each Participant may submit one contest entry.

  3. The contest entry must be original, self-created, and must not violate any laws, good customs, or third-party rights.

  4. Entries containing offensive, vulgar, discriminatory, unlawful content, infringing on third-party rights, or unrelated to the Contest theme will not be considered.

  5. Participation in the Contest is voluntary and free of charge.

§ 4. Selection of Winners

  1. From all correctly submitted entries, the Organizer will select 10 winners.

  2. Winners will be selected based on the assessment of creativity, originality, and consistency of the answers with the Contest theme and the nature of the ScentLoop brand.

  3. The entries that are deemed most creative by the Organizer will be awarded prizes.

  4. The Organizer's decision regarding the selection of winners is final, subject to the Participant's right to submit a complaint according to the rules specified in § 8 of the Regulations.

§ 5. Prizes

  1. There are 10 prizes in the Contest.

  2. The prize for each winner is 1 candle from the Easter category available in the Organizer's online store offer.

  3. The winner selects the prize independently from the candles in the Easter category available in the Organizer's store on the day of selection.

  4. In case of unavailability of the chosen product, the winner selects another candle from the same category, available at the time of selection.

  5. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash equivalent or any other material prize.

  6. One Participant may receive only one prize in the Contest.

§ 6. Announcement of Results and Awarding of Prizes

  1. The Organizer will inform the winners about their win via private message on the social media platform, a comment under the contest post, and/or by announcing the results on the Organizer's profile.

  2. The winner is obliged, within 3 working days from the day of receiving information about the win, to send the Organizer the data necessary for prize delivery, in particular:

    1. first and last name,

    2. shipping address within Poland,

    3. phone number or email address for contact, if needed for prize delivery.

  3. In case of failure to provide the data within the deadline mentioned in paragraph 2, the Organizer has the right to choose another winner.

  4. Prizes will be sent within 14 working days from the date of receiving complete data necessary for their delivery.

  5. The cost of shipping the prize within Poland is covered by the Organizer.

§ 7. Rights to Contest Entries

  1. The Participant declares that the contest entry is a result of their own creative work and does not infringe on third-party rights.

  2. By submitting the contest entry, the Participant grants the Organizer a gratuitous, non-exclusive license to use the entry to the extent necessary for conducting the Contest, announcing its results, and promoting the Contest and the ScentLoop brand, in particular by publishing the entry or a fragment thereof on the Organizer's website and on the Organizer's social media.

  3. The Participant agrees to have their entry marked with the username they use on the respective social media platform.

  4. If the Organizer is interested in using the winning proposal as a commercial product name beyond the purposes indicated in paragraph 2, the parties may enter into a separate agreement.

§ 8. Complaints

  1. Complaints regarding the Contest can be submitted electronically to the email address: info@scentoop.eu or in writing to the Organizer's registered office address.

  2. The complaint should include the Participant's first and last name, contact details, and a description of the reservations.

  3. Complaints can be submitted within 14 days from the date of the announcement of the Contest results.

  4. The Organizer will process the complaint within 14 days from the date of its receipt and will inform the Participant about how it was handled.

§ 9. Personal Data

  1. The administrator of Participants' personal data is the Organizer.

  2. Participants' personal data will be processed for the purpose of:

    1. conducting the Contest,

    2. selecting winners,

    3. announcing results,

    4. contacting winners,

    5. awarding prizes,

    6. processing complaints,

    7. fulfilling legal obligations.

  3. The basis for processing personal data is:

    1. the legitimate interest of the Organizer consisting in organizing and settling the Contest,

    2. a legal obligation incumbent on the Organizer — to the extent required by applicable law.

  4. Recipients of personal data may include entities providing IT, courier, hosting, accounting services to the Organizer, and entities authorized to receive data based on legal provisions.

  5. Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to conduct the Contest, award prizes, resolve any complaints, and for the period required by law.

  6. The Participant has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of their data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

  7. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for participation in the Contest, and for winners — also for receiving a prize.

§ 10. Final Provisions

  1. Participation in the Contest means acceptance of these Regulations.

  2. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Regulations only for valid reasons, provided that it does not infringe upon the acquired rights of Participants.

  3. Matters not regulated by these Regulations shall be governed by Polish law.

  4. The Contest is not in any way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the social media platform on which it was announced.

  5. The social media platform on which the contest post was published is released from responsibility by each Participant in connection with the organization of the Contest.
