Contest Terms and Conditions
The Scent That Reminds You of Mom
§ 1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions define the rules for conducting the contest named “The Scent That Reminds You of Mom #ScentLoop” , hereinafter referred to as the “Contest.”

The Organizer of the Contest is CHMAL INVESTMENTS GROUP SP. Z O.O., aleja Włókniarzy 234A, 90-556 Łódź, Poland, owner of the ScentLoop brand and the website scentloop.eu, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer.”

The Contest is conducted via the Organizer’s profile on the social media platform indicated in the contest post and under the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions.

The Terms and Conditions are available free of charge on the website scentloop.eu throughout the entire duration of the Contest.

The Contest runs from the moment the contest post is published until May 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM Polish time.

The Contest results will be announced on May 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM on the Organizer’s profile and/or on the Organizer’s website.
-
The Contest is creative in nature and aims to select the most imaginative contest answers.
§ 2. Contest Participants

Only a natural person who:
-
be at least 18 years old,
-
have full legal capacity,
-
have a public account on the social media platform where the contest post is published,
-
accepted these Terms and Conditions.

The Contest is intended for persons residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
-
Employees of the Organizer, persons cooperating in organizing the Contest, their spouses, ascendants, descendants, siblings, and persons in an adoption relationship with them may not participate in the Contest.
§ 3. Contest Participation Rules

To participate in the Contest, you must during its duration:
-
Complete the contest task, which involves answering the question:
“Describe the scent that most reminds you of your Mom and explain why it does.” The answer should be independent, original, and creative.

One Participant may submit one contest entry .
-
The contest entry must be independent, original, and must not violate laws, good morals, or third-party rights.
-
Entries containing offensive, vulgar, discriminatory content, illegal content, infringing on third-party rights, or unrelated to the Contest topic will not participate in the Contest.

Participation in the Contest is voluntary and free of charge.
§ 4. Selection of Winners

From all correctly submitted entries, the Organizer will select 20 winners. Winners will be chosen collectively from entries on both platforms (Instagram and Facebook).

Winners will be selected based on the assessment of creativity, originality, and the relevance of the response to the Contest theme and the character of the ScentLoop brand.
-
The evaluation criteria will be: creativity, originality, emotional qualities of the statement. The selection of winners is subjective and belongs to the jury.
The Contest does not include elements of chance. -
The Organizer's decision on the selection of winners is final, subject to the participant's right to file a complaint under the terms specified in § 8 of the Regulations.
§ 5. Prizes

The Contest includes 20 prizes.

The prize for each winner is 1 Rosefield candle available in the Organizer's online store.

If the selected product is unavailable, the winner chooses another candle from the same category available at the time of selection.

Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or another material prize.
-
One participant can receive only one prize in the Contest.
§ 6. Announcement of results and prize distribution

The Organizer will inform winners about their win via private message on the social network, comment under the contest post, and/or announcement of results on the Organizer's profile.
-
The winner is obliged to send the Organizer the data necessary to issue the prize within 3 business days from the date of receiving the notification of winning, in particular:
-
first and last name,
-
shipping address within Poland,
-
phone number or email address for contact, if needed for prize delivery.

If the data is not provided within the deadline mentioned in section 2, the Organizer has the right to select another winner.
-
Prizes will be shipped within 14 business days from the date of receiving complete data necessary for delivery.
-
The Organizer covers the cost of shipping the prize within Poland.
§ 7. Rights to contest submissions

The participant declares that the contest submission is the result of their own creativity and does not infringe on the rights of third parties.

By submitting a contest entry, the participant grants the Organizer a free, non-exclusive license to use the submission to the extent necessary to conduct the Contest, announce its results, and promote the Contest and the ScentLoop brand, in particular by publishing the submission or its fragment on the Organizer's website and social media.

The participant agrees to have their submission labeled with the username they use on the given social network.

If the Organizer is interested in using the winning proposal as a commercial product name beyond the purposes indicated in section 2, the parties may enter into a separate agreement.
§ 8. Complaints

Complaints regarding the Contest can be submitted electronically to the email address: info@scentoop.eu or in writing to the Organizer's registered office address.
-
The complaint should include the Participant's full name, contact details, and a description of the objections.
-
Complaints can be submitted within 14 days from the date of the Contest results announcement.
-
The Organizer will consider the complaint within 14 days from the date of receipt and inform the Participant about the outcome.
§ 9. Personal data

The data controller of Participants' personal data is the Organizer.
-
Participants' personal data will be processed for the purpose of:
-
conducting the Contest,
-
selecting winners,
-
announcing results,
-
contacting winners,
-
issuing prizes,
-
handling complaints,
-
fulfillment of obligations arising from legal provisions.

The basis for processing personal data is:
-
the Organizer's legitimate interest in organizing and settling the Contest,
-
a legal obligation incumbent on the Organizer — to the extent required by applicable law.
-

Recipients of personal data may include entities providing IT, courier, hosting, accounting services to the Organizer, as well as entities authorized to receive data under legal provisions.
-
Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to conduct the Contest, issue prizes, handle any complaints, and for the period required by law.

The Participant has the right to access their data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to processing, and file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to participate in the Contest, and in the case of winners — also to receive the prize.
§ 10. Final provisions

Participation in the Contest signifies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions only for important reasons, provided that it does not infringe on the acquired rights of the Participants.
-
In matters not regulated by the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
-
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or conducted by the social media platform where it was announced, nor is it affiliated with it.
-
The social media platform where the contest post was published is exempt from liability by each Participant in matters related to the organization of the Contest.
